Construction

Site works are currently well advanced with construction of the site access tracks effectively complete. Several reinforced concrete foundations have been cast using concrete generated from the on-site batching plant. The remaining foundations are scheduled to be complete before the end of 2007. Following the erection of the turbines, specialist engineers will commission the equipment and subject it to intensive testing prior to final hand over and generation for the first phase anticipated in December 2008. The construction of the electrical substation has started and electrical equipment installation is on target to achieve a grid connection date of 16 November 2007.
