The wind farm, which will be built entirely on land owned by the two municipalities, is secured by  two definitive land agreements signed between the Project Company and Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò municipalities.

The host municipality have granted building lease for all the wind turbine positions and the right of way for roads and cables for a duration of 25 years.

The development of Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò represents a significant financial investment. Local contractors  and workers are being employed in the construction phase and maintenance wherever possible. Wind energy developments represent an important form of economic diversification in agricultural economies and rural communities.
