Project manager : Bertrand Le Mouëllic

The wind farm is located at 45 kilometers South-West from Poitiers in the Vienne (86) department in France. The project straddles the commune of Moulismes, Plaisance and Lathus-saint-Remy. The wind project is sited in open farmland, at about 200 meters above sea level, and follows the National Road 147. The building permit has been deposed the 15 October 2008.
The 16MW wind farm consists of 8 Repower MM92 wind turbines each rated at 2MW with a hub height of 100m. The project provides sufficient clean green energy to supply more than 15,000 homes and avoids the emission of around 27,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases each year which would otherwise have been produced by a power station burning fossil fuel, and 73kg of nuclear waste which would otherwise have been produced by a nuclear plant. It will be connected to the electricity distribution network operated by Electricité Réseau Distribution France at Montmorillon city.
The wind farm is owned and operated by Parc Eolien de Moulismes SAS which is owned 100% by Falck Renewables Plc.
